About the Event
To mark 50 years of the ALDE Party, The Alliance Of Her and the Rainbow Platform are joining forces to host House of Freedom: An evening of celebration, community and liberal pride.
Taking place on the eve of the ALDE Congress in Vienna, House of Freedom is more than a reception. It is an opening act for a milestone anniversary: a vivid, joyful affirmation of the values that have always defined liberalism: freedom, equality and human dignity.
At a time when these values are under pressure across the continent, this evening reclaims the narrative. Demanding diverse political leadership is not a trend. It is the foundation of a liberal Europe, one that expands individual liberty, broadens opportunity and strengthens shared prosperity. House of Freedom places the stories of women, LGBTQI+ and diverse leaders at the centre of a broader, intersectional vision: the freedom to contribute fully and authentically belongs to every person, regardless of gender, identity, background, or ability.
